I Really Miss You

Hello & Happy Sunday

     I have gotten my craft room some what organized, but as a crafter we are always reorganizing because we cannot stop buying new stamps, paper, ribbons, etc. Today I sat down and created a card for my fiance's cousin, she made a comment on one of my projects over on instagram and requested she get some happy mail. I am using some stamps and dies I picked up at a scrapbook store that's about an hour from my home, it was my first time there but definetely worth the drive

Crafty Organizing

Hello,

   I have been quite over the last few days, but trust me its been a busy few day. I took a quick trip to NYC to visit my mom and it was a 72 hour trip with no sleep literally. I have also been organizing my craft room, getting rid of a few things and reorganizing what is left. I want to use my time effectively so I need everything around me as convenient as possible.
    When I started crafting I was always quick to get my supplies at the nearest store, I was naive and really did not know the difference in quality. I have been Scrap booking and Card making for over 8 years and experience and trial and error has caught up to me. I am getting rid of all my beginner tools and upgrading to better quality ones which should make things much easier.  I am not saying that everything I started with is not good but there are new and improve versions of those tools that would make thing easier to accomplish.
   I cut and score over 200 card bases in white, black and Kraft and in both portrait and landscape style, this is going to make card making so much quicker and less messy. I will not have to pull out my score board every time and cut my paper down, now I can just focus on my layers. Let's see what these Small changes will bring, looking forward to jumping into some projects over the next few days.

Miss Kate Cuttables Guest Designer

   I am so excited to be a Guest Designer over at the Miss Kate Cuttables Blog. I made a cute and quick Halloween card using the Cat on Moon file. I wanted to make a quick card that was not scary, yet cute for a little girl. I am going to be sending this card to my 7 year old niece. I pulled out some older DCWV paper pad called Midnight Spell. I also put my Cricut Explore to use to make this card, and boy does that thing cut like butter. I love how nice and clean the cuts were especially on those tiny stars next to the cat. Hello,

   I sat down and started doing some organizing of my scraps and cutting and folding some card bases and decided to make a quick card neutral with some of the scraps that I found. I used a punch and an older stamp set by Hero Arts. I hope this inspire you to use some of those scraps, they can make some beautiful cards.
