Father's Day Card

Hello! This is Rosa with Enjoying The Bug with Father's Day near I decided to make a Father's Day card for my design team post this week over at She's a Sassy Lady. I made a very simple card using Campin' Critters cartridge, some Recollections paper I picked up at my local Michael's a while back and Mojo Monday Sketch for monday May 28th.

For my card I used my Gypsy with my Cricut Expression to cut out the pieces for my card.

Gypsy Screen with cuts laid out

Then I laid my mat out with the colors that I wanted my cuts to be for each layer

I then put all my layers together and I came up with this!

Valentine's Day Candy Card

Wow! It has been a long time since I have updated my blog! But it was not by choice, my laptop was broken and it took Geek Squad 2 months to repair it. Yeah it was a ridicolous wait, but now that I have it back in one piece I am hoping to share the things that I have been working on with you guys.

Today's card was inspired by an idea that I scrap lifted from Whiff of Joy Stamps. This was intentionally created to hold tea lights but I changed it up a bit and used Hershey's Kisses.

Materials Used:

Recollections Kraft, Red & White Cardstock
Martha Stewart Key & Heart Mat Pad
Spellebinder's Nestebilities Hearts
Hershey's Kisses
Xyron Adhesive

You can find full instructions on how to create this by going to Whiff of Joy Stamps

Thanks for stopping by!
