During the Black Friday sell I picked up a few carts, one of theses cart was Suburbia. Looking through this cart I didn't know  what I was going to use it for, it had been sitting on my desk. Since this is a challenge week, I gave myself the challenge of creating something with this cart for my Design Team entry. I hope you enjoy and join in on this weeks challenge.

Sympathy Card for a Friend

Hello,

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and that Santa brought you all the things that were on your wish list. I got a few new toys for my craft room and a gift card to one of my favorite stores (might be your favorite as well). Today as I sat in my craft room getting things together for a new blog that I am starting New Years day, I received a phone call in reference to a friend of mines son who passed away last week. Due to the unknown cause of death and the Christmas holidays the arraignments were a little delayed, so today is the wake and the funeral will be tomorrow. I cannot attend the funeral due to the time and work, but I will show my support by attending the wake this evening. I put together a quick card with some encouraging words for her, I lost my husband last year so I know reading encouraging words made things a little easier.

Mojo Monday 322 Entry

Hello,

I had some free time today and was able to spend part of my morning in my craft room doing what I love doing the most. I was browsing through my blog subscriptions to see what inspiration I could come across and saw the sketch for today's Mojo Monday.  I made a simple card with some stamping and surprisingly no die cuts. I have to say it has been a while since I made a card with just plain old stamping. I hope you enjoy and play along on the Mojo Monday Website.
